If you’ve sat down around New Year’s to reflect and list the many incredible things you want to change and accomplish in the following year, just to realize — three months into the year — that you’re not making any progress toward any of those things, don’t beat yourself up just yet.
Everybody has already gone off track when it comes to their goals, even those that have been doing it for quite some time. But the good news is, you can get back on track.
Today, Nicolai Oliden from Engineering You jumps back on the show to discuss the strategies you can use to effectively set goals, assess your progress, and get back on track with those goals you might have failed at.
Nicolai Oliden is a Roadway Project Engineer and Office Manager at Ethos Engineering in Tempe, Arizona. Ethos is a civil, structural, and geotechnical firm. He graduated from Arizona State University in 2008.
In addition to his work at Ethos, Nicolai started his own leadership development company, EngineeringYOU, where he helps people develop their self-discipline and leadership skills in order to thrive at work and home. He gives presentations across the country, leads personal development groups, and is also a Financial Coach. You can find him at the engineeringyou.org website and various social media platforms.
