One of the biggest questions young engineers have is what comes after the PE exam. It is important to have a plan and make sure you are on track to fulfill your goals. The PE exam is one of the biggest steps to advance in our careers and we should ensure we are making the most of it. From getting a big pay raise to a promotion, we should ensure we are making the most out of it. I have made various episodes on how taking the PE made me a better engineer and how to prepare for the PE exam so make sure you check them out to learn more about this topic.
Isaac Oakeson is a professional engineer in the state of Utah. He is a husband and father to 3 girls with one boy on the way very soon.
He created Civil Engineering Academy after he struggled to pass his exams and wanted to be a guy in trenches that could help others go through the same process. Civil Engineering Academy now has hundreds of students in its courses, thousands of subscribers to its YouTube and Podcast – all with the goal to help engineers on their journey to become professional engineers.
Isaac graduated from the University of Utah in civil engineer and later received his master’s from the University of Arkansas. He’s been working in the transmission and utility industry since he graduated.
