Even though it may come with different names (i.e., retrospective, after-action review, etc.), an annual review is the action of taking a step back to look at the progress you’ve made so far. This brings you awareness of where you’re currently at, and helps you determine where you want to go in the future.
However, there’s a catch. As today’s guest mentions, most people do these reviews focusing on the life they dream of but still don’t have, without looking at how much they have grown regarding the person they used to be. This causes them to feel like they’re not good enough.
